down rain this morning. Decided to head
to Key West and see “The Big Short” at the Tropic. A pretty decent movie about
the 2008 housing crash and Wall Street greed. Theater was packed. Seems
everyone had the same idea. We left the theater and the skies had cleared and
the air smelled clean and fresh. Walked over to the Navy pier and sat for a
while enjoying the clear air and nice breeze. There were 3 cruise ships in.
Most of the people were back on the ship, so not a lot of people around.
Heading back up the Keys the traffic was way better also. Things are good. Mid-80s
again, but cooling down. Our neighbor, Larry, brought over some bean soup he
made. Had that for dinner instead of left-over turkey. Really good.
