Sat, Feb 25, Lazy Lakes RV
Park, Sugarloaf, FL: After
breakfast this morning we headed down to the art show on Whitehead. Parked at
the post office lot ($30) and set out. Browsed all the entrants and were amazed
at what beautiful creations were on display. Stopped at a booth and inquired
about a thumb ring. $600. Told him I was thinking about $20 and was
told “…wrong booth.” After checking out
all the booths we had drinks and lunch at Red Fish Blue Fish. After lunch we
walked out to the Key West harbor and watched all the boat traffic. A huge
yacht was anchored out by Sunset Key. Too big to tie up at the marina there.
After that we walked up Duval and bought a onesie for our grandson, Andrew, and
then walked back to our truck and drove home.
Got home and walked across the street to Dale and Carolyn’s and imbibed
with them for a while. A guy in a motor home across from them was emptying his
black water tank and the smell was terrible, so we walked over to our site for
the rest of the evening. A beautiful day which ended way too soon. Low 80s
today and beautiful.
