Wed, Nov 13, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  Drove into Ft. Myers today for my doctor appointment.  My appointment was at 1:00 but I had to be there by 12:30.  We didn’t get out of there until 2:30.  She was very thorough.  No wonder she’s in great demand.  I was lucky to even get an appointment.  Had a late lunch at Chili’s and back home.  Rained during the night and was cloudy all day today.  But in the low to upper 70s.  The chairs we ordered were delivered while we were gone.

Tue, Nov 12, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  Did the laundry first thing this morning.  While the clothes were in the dryer we walked over to the library and I got a book.  Back home and put everything away and drove into Clewiston to run some errands.  Stopped at Crumbs for lunch and then back to our site.  We’re trying to decide whether or not to get a screen room, table and chairs, and then a shed to store it all in.  We’re going to look at sheds tomorrow after my doctor appointment.  Upper 80s in here today.  Really pleasant.

Mon, Nov 11, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  A nice day today.  Warm and sunny.  We waited most of the day today for the gas guy to come and fill our propane tank.  Mike had the date wrong.  He’ll be here in the 13^th, not the 11^th.  Oh well.  Drove into Labelle and did the grocery shopping and had Mexican for dinner.  Esther and Gerald are coming by for some libation later.  Last night I went over to the activity center and played Jokers with some people.  I guess Sunday and Monday nights are game nights.  I was supposed to play again tonight, but we’ll see.  Mid-80s today with lower humidity.

Sun, Nov 10, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  Finally pumped up my bicycle tires this morning and biked over to the office, which was closed.  Biked back and relaxed for a while.  My legs were wobbly from the bike ride and my arms were tired from all the pumping.  I was a hot mess.  Esther stopped over for a while.  We may get together with them this afternoon for a while.  Mike and I went for lunch at Crumb’s Grill here on the property.  Nice little place.  We sat outside on the deck.  Nice day today.  Low 80s I guess.  It was really cool last night—nice for sleeping.

Sat, Nov 9, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  Rainy and cool this morning.  Stayed in most of the day.  Played some spades, I did my nails, and when it cleared off we went out and introduced ourselves to our new neighbors.  Our neighbors in the park model stopped over later in the afternoon.  The cooler weather is very welcome.  Probably 80 today.  Burgers for dinner.

Fri, Nov 8, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  Took a short walk this morning.  It was so humid.  Supposed to cool down starting tonight.  Stopped by Esther and Gerald’s.  They’re busy getting set up.  Mike and I went into Clewiston and picked up some prescriptions, went to Wally World, and then had lunch at Sonny’s Barbecue.  Really good lunch. No dinner tonight.  I think it was 88 here today.  Stopped by the office on our way to see what we have to do in order to put a shed on our site.  Got a form to fill out and we have to do a drawing as to what we want.

Thu, Nov 7, 2019:  The Glades RV and Golf Resort, Moore Haven, FL:  Drove to Ft. Myers today.  I have a doctor’s appointment on Nov. 16 so we wanted to do a dry run to make sure we find the place okay.  Called my brother to see if he and Jan wanted to join us for lunch, but she has a doctor appointment.  Stopped at Camping World on the way back and picked up a few things.  Had lunch at Cracker Barrel and then on home.  91 today.  It’s really nice in the shade.  I think it hit a record today.
