Thu, Jun 11, 2020:  Day 83 of self-quarantine:  Grocery order delivered around 12:00.  Got that all sanitized and put away and then drove Mike to CVS to pick up his scripts.  Gassed up the Lincoln at the same time.  Played spades for a while.  Not sure what’s for dinner.  Probably sandwiches.

Wed, Jun 10, 2020:  Day 82 of self-quarantine:  After the front went through yesterday, the weather turned perfect.  Mid-80s the rest of the week with low humidity.  Did another grocery order this afternoon.  Having it delivered tomorrow around noon.  Didn’t want to deal with it today. Getting ready to play spades with Nomad.

Mon, Jun 8, 2020:  Day 80 of self-quarantine:  Worked on my crossword puzzle this morning and listened to the birds outside.  They’re out there just chattering away.  Such a happy sound—or maybe they’re just communicating with each other.  I’d like to think they’re happy.  They make me happy.  Got a lot of stuff done today.  Did some cleaning, took care of my nails and picked up my new library book.  STL County Library does a good job.  They e-mail me when my book is ready for pick up.  You go to the library and park in the designated spot and text them and they bring your book and put it in your trunk.  My new book is “Woman in Cabin 10.”  Supposed to do for cruising what Jaws did for swimming in the ocean.  Can’t wait to start it.  Low 90s today.  Not sure what we’re doing for dinner.  Maybe order in.

Sun, Jun 7, 2020:  Day 79 of self-quarantine:  Another hot and humid day today.  I think it’s warmer here than in LaBelle, FL.  Didn’t do anything productive today.  Played spades with Nomad for a while.  Think I’ll go out on the deck and read for a while.  Left-over lasagna for dinner tonight.

Sat, Jun 6, 2020:  Day 78 of self-quarantine:  Got up early this morning because the garage door fixer guy was supposed to show up between 8-12.  He didn’t show up until 1:00.  Fell asleep watching a weird Netflix series.  After the guy fixed our garage door we played spades for a while.  Lasagna for dinner tonight. Hot and humid today.

Fri, Jun 5, 2020:  Day 77 of self-quarantine:  Another nice, warm and humid day today.  Watched a great movie on Netflix, “Trumbo.”  Played spades with Nomad.  Did some computer stuff.  That’s about it.  Left-overs for dinner tonight.

Thu, Jun 4, 2020:  Day 76 of self-quarantine:  Couldn’t sleep last night.  Worried about spiders and other crawly things, I guess.  So, I’m like a zombie today.  Had the presence of mind to back up my laptop and backed up my phone to the cloud.  The library is finally open, so I ordered a book.  Pick-up only.  Played spades with Nomad in the afternoon.  Going to have steaks, corn on the cob, and a 6-bean salad for dinner tonight. I made a huge one  (6-bean salad) yesterday.  Love that stuff.  Upper 80s today and cloudy.
