Wed, Dec 16, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Didn’t do much today.  Took the trash out to the road.  Talked with the guys that are going to design and make our driveway.  Read a little and played spades in the afternoon.  Low 80s today.  Rain tonight.

Tue, Dec 15, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Headed to Ft. Myers this morning.  Me for my infusion appointment.  My appointment was for 11:30.  I checked in at 11:15 and by 12:00 I still hadn’t been called.  Asked the person at the desk if they knew I was out there.  Apparently they didn’t. Finally, I got called in and prepped.  I was not happy. While I was in there, Mike got the truck washed.  On the way back we stopped at Camping World and then picked up two dinners at Cracker Barrel.  I got roast beef and Mike got a fried turkey dinner.  Both really good.

Mon, Dec 14, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Did the grocery shopping this morning.  On the way back we stopped at Beef O’Brady’s and ordered lunch to go.  Back home, put everything away and then enjoyed our lunch.  Well, after the cheese dip and chips I was full and couldn’t eat my Philly cheese steak sandwich.  That will be dinner I guess.  Mike ate part of his firecracker burger and saved the rest for dinner.  Plus we bought all these bakery items at the grocery store which are beckoning—cherry pie, cherry turnovers, chocolate cake slices and cookies.  You should never go to the grocery store hungry.  A beautiful day today with temps in the low 80s.

The historic courthouse in LaBelle.

The really nice POW/MIA memorial across the street from the courthouse.

Sun, Dec 13, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Got the laundry out of the way this morning.  I walked up and back three times, so got my walk in.  Also walked up to the library and back.  Got two more books.  Our neighbors all went out for a motorcycle ride. We read for a while and played Backgammon in the screen room for a while.  Mike beat me three times (sigh).  A beautiful day in the 80s.

Craig was at our next door neighbor working on their air conditioner.  He's a cancer survivor with a prosthetic leg.  Amazing guy.

Our neighbors across the street, Mark and Deb, getting reading to head out on their ride.  Deb drives her own bike.  Superwoman!

Tod and his wife on their ride.

And off they go.

Sat, Dec 12, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Rained early this morning.  Took my time getting up and getting dressed.  College football day.  Missouri is playing Georgia.  We saw a great NFL game the other night between the Rams and Patriots.  The Rams dominated.  They looked really good.  High 70s today.

The only productive thing I did today.

Fri, Dec 11, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Nice day today.  I started walking up to the office and was almost there when Mike picked me up.  Got our mail and then went to Crumb’s to see about lunch.  People on the deck with no masks.  No one inside was wearing masks.  So we ordered take-out.  It was taking so long I cancelled the order and we left.  Can’t believe people aren’t getting infected with that kind of behavior.  A beautiful, sunny day in the upper 70s.

Venturing out for my walk.

My daughter sent us this beautiful Christmas card which she painted herself.  So talented.  You can't tell from this picture, but it's all sparkly.

Thu, Dec 10, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Another chilly morning, but it turned into a beautiful day.  After our smoothies, Mike made French toast.  Yum!  Sat outside reading for a while.  A bunny was nestled in the palms on our site all day.  Love the bunnies.  Playing spades with Nomad in the afternoon.  In the 70s today.
