Sat, Feb 3, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  The last beautiful day for a while. I went out and did my walk, stopping at the library for a book.  We took advantage of the good weather  and took care of some chores.  We loaded the full propane tank into the fifth wheel.  I helped some.  He also took care of the black water tank and washed it out.  And we took care of the laundry.  Played spades for a while.  Storms tomorrow with another cold front (sigh).

Fri, Feb 2, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Beautiful day again today.  We drove to Clewiston for my dermatology appointment.  After that we met Dale and Carolyn for lunch at the Riverside Grill.  Warm enough to dine alfresco.  Back home and played spades for a while.  Watched another episode of “Masters of the Air” on Apple TV.

Thu, Feb 1, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Another sunny day in the low 70s.  I did some trimming outside.  And Mike was able to get the empty propane tank out and into the truck to get filled.  He put a full one in with my help.  They are bulky and heavy, but we were able to get it done.  He’s doing pretty good.  Played spades in the afternoon.  Now it’s dinner time.

Wed, Jan 31, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Sunny and breezy today.  Think it went up to 72.  Worked some more on taxes which put me in a mood.  Watched  a movie on Netflix while I ate my lunch.  Mike went outside to read his book for a while.  Played spades in the afternoon.  Beef tips and gravy for dinner tonight.

Tue, Jan 30, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Another beautiful sunny day today.  Moved the table and chairs into the screen room.  And we got the grill and table out also.  Got the ladder out and Mike put the smoke detector back up which was out of batteries.  He did pretty well considering.  Now just a few more things to take care of outside.  Need to find someone to replace the panel on the screen room roof.  Mike said he could do it but I’d rather he didn’t have to deal with it.  Played spades this afternoon.  It is 69 out there right now but feels much warmer.  Life is good!

Mon, Jan 29, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  I thought we were going to get rain, but today dawned sunny and bright.  Just pretty chilly.  I got up during the night and turned on the furnace.  We left at 11:00 to drive to Ft. Myers to my new infusion center to get some bloodwork done before my next infusion.  This place is great!  All private rooms with a large reclining chair, a large screen TV and snacks.  And it’s easy to get to.  We stopped at Cracker Barrell for a great lunch and then back to our site.  Going to put the quilt on the bed tonight.  The high today was 65.  Tomorrow 69.  But no rain.  Need to do some more on the outside.

Sun, Jan 28, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  A nice day today, but a cold front is looming.  Did the laundry and after lunch we got ready to watch the Chiefs/Ravens football game on Paramont+.  But try as I might, we couldn’t get the game to play.  As of this writing the Chiefs are 17 and the Ravens 10.  We’re now getting ready to watch the Lions and 49rs.  Dale and Carolyn stopped by briefly.  Tomorrow we head to Ft. Myers so I can get some blood work done.  We have more things to do on the outside.  It’ll probably have to wait because of the weather.  Rain is moving in.
