Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Well, today would have been our original arrival date here in the Keys, had I not had the misfortune to fracture my kneecap.  Hurried down so I could see an orthopedic surgeon.  It was nice getting down here early, although I couldn’t do anything but sit around with my leg up.  A beautiful day today—sunny and nice under a beautiful blue sky devoid of clouds.  Sat outside reading my book and gazing up at the sky.  Trying to decide whether or not to go get a pizza, or cook up some breakfast stuff we’ve been hauling around with us for a while.  The Grands biscuits are about to blow I think.  Upper 70s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Another cool, breezy day today.  But sunny.  I stayed inside most of the day reading and watching mostly the ID channel.  After watching that channel for any length of time, you realize how many bad people there are in this world.  Mid-70s today I guess, but felt cooler with the breeze.  Howie is at Boondocks tonight, but we can't go (sigh).

Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Breezy and on the cool side again today.  We spent our day reading and watching TV.  There was a bunch of Alfred Hitchcock movies on AMC.  Watched “Rear Window”, one of my favorites.  After that was over we sat outside for a while, but the chill drove me in.  Mid-70s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Happy Thanksgiving!  Overcast all day today.  We basically stayed inside all day.  We had steaks and lobster tails for our dinner.  And pumpkin pie for dessert.  Really good!  Low 70s today.  

Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Not feeling so great today. Probably because Jerry and Char stopped by with a bottle of wine and we opened a couple as well.  Drank too much of course, but it was fun. Rained really hard most of the night last night.  We even had a thunder storm of sorts.  Quite a bit cooler today.  I stayed inside all day.  Our neighbor and friend, Richard, stopped over for a while.  We’ve been here over a week and this was the first time we’d seen him.  Poor Mike did the laundry earlier.  Mid-70s today and breezy.

Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Another gorgeous day today.  Mike drove to Big Pine and did the grocery shopping.  I did a little cleaning and then spent my day on my lounge chair outside, the couch or bed inside.  I think we’re beginning to have fits of ennui. Watched our Netflix movie, “Rio”.  Cute.  Upper 80s today.  

Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  An uneventful day today.  Couldn’t sit outside very long because it was windy and cloudy.  All I can wear right now is shorts, so the chill drove me inside.  Lay on the couch reading for a while and then moved to the bedroom and lay on the bed watching episodes of Sex and the City.  Jerry stopped by and wanted to know if we were going to happy hour tonight.  Explained to him that I have to keep my leg straight and it would be very uncomfortable.  He suggested we rent a wheel chair.  Thought about it, but in three more weeks if I’m careful I’ll get this brace off my leg and could get around much better.  Hope I don’t go mad before then.  Mike too. Upper 70s today.
