Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Really warm and breezy today.  We decided to do the laundry at the KOA today.  I walked over and Mike drove over. We got that out of the way and then sat outside reading.  Watched some big clouds roll in and then roll right out to reveal a beautiful blue sky.  Went into Key West and had dinner at the Conch Republic Seafood Co. on Schooner Wharf.  A couple of 80+ ladies asked if they could join us at our table.  One is from Boston and the other from NYC.  They’re here for a couple of weeks but had a terrible time getting down here, what with all the snow storms going on.  One of them spent the night at the Atlanta airport.  They are looking forward to getting home.  We had a great dinner.  I had snapper and Mike had raw oysters and stuffed shrimp.  Chocolate covered strawberries for dessert.  After dinner we walked around the wharf for a while.  A beautiful night.  It was still 81 at 8:00, tempered with nice tropical breezes.  A perfect day!

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Another gorgeous day today. I got the cleaning out of the way early and then Mike went over for shoes in the afternoon.  Sat outside reading my book and Carmen stopped by.  Later on Robin and Mutley stopped by on their walk.  I needed to go for a walk today.  But I didn’t.  Maybe I’ll walk over to the KOA tonight. Happy hour tonight.  And then Boondocks for dinner.  Another lovely day.  Mid-80s.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A nice day today.  We headed to Big Pine to pick up some stuff for the Super Bowl party here at the park.  We picked up a fruit platter and some cole slaw.  Martin cooked up some ribs and a pork loin.  Dallas hired a band and we had a pretty good party going.  Caught up with some friends who just arrived.  We headed home after about an hour after the game started.  We’re rooting for the Denver Broncos, but it’s not looking good so far.  Our neighbor, Sandy Bush (aka Chicago Sandy) played her harmonica with the band for a set or two.  She is getting really good.  Low 80s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A beautiful day today under pristine blue skies.  On the computer this morning and Ray stopped by with Munch.  He hung around all morning shooting the breeze.  After he left I sat outside reading my book for a while.  Mike went up and got our Netflix which arrived today.  Made a big batch of popcorn and watched that.  A bunch of people are going to the KOA to see a local band.  We’re taking a liver appreciation day.  Upper 70s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A nice, warm sunny day today.  Big change from yesterday.  Guess it rained all night last night.  Needless to say, it was pretty humid today.  But it was great to get outside again.  I was sitting outside in my chaise lounge reading my book and Richard came by on his walk around the lake and said:  “There’s a couple of iguanas having carnal relations in your site.”  Sure enough.  First time we’ve seen that!  Went to Mangrove Mama’s for dinner.  This place used to be a railroad stop for Flagler’s overseas railroad back in the day.  Love the history down here!

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A really nasty day today.  Started out nasty and didn’t get any better.  Windy, rainy and cool.  Poured down at times.  Basically stayed inside all day.  A peregrine falcon was hanging out across the lake for a while.  We’ve spotted these raptors a few times down here.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  After cavorting around Key West last night, we just kicked back today.  The play last night was hilarious.  Key West has a great contingent of people that put on these plays.  They are always first rate.  We had a great dinner before the show at the Hard Rock Café which is right next door.  The theater is very small—I think we counted 8 rows of seats. We will definitely go back.  After the theater we walked down to The Bull for a bit and then walked back to the Eco Center where we parked.  Tonight we go to the clubhouse for dinner.
