Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:    I accomplished most of the cleaning while Mike was over partaking of Monday morning donuts.  After finishing up I relaxed outside feeling a sense of accomplishment, watching the clouds drifting by, and reading my book.  Tonight is happy hour at the KOA and then dinner somewhere afterward.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Really warm and sultry again today.  We were planning on going over to Roostica on Stock Island for a late lunch, so I called a couple we met down here last year to see if they wanted to join us.  They were at the KOA last night also. We met George and Jacki at 2:00 and sat around and finally got to know them.  They have a huge motor home (45 ft) in Naples and are down here visiting their son who lives on Sugarloaf Key.  Their motor home has a washer/dryer and a dishwasher.  Wow!  They are spoiled.  Came back home and sat outside for a while because it was so beautiful out.  But no breeze, so the no-see-ums were out with a vengeance.  Drove us inside.

Took a picture of Howie last night.  Terrible picture.

Christmas cards from friends and family.

Love these roosters that roam around.  This one was in the Walgreens parking lot.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  The play we went to see last night (Noises Off) at the Waterfront Theater was hilarious.  I highly recommend it for an outstandingly good time.  We ended up at the Roof Top CafĂ© for dinner before the show and ran into Char, Jerry, and Ben, who were also there for dinner.  It was so warm when we got out of the theater that I felt like walking around a bit.  Mike’s back is bothering him, so we went home.  Mostly cloudy and really humid yesterday and today.  Tonight we’re heading to Mangrove Mama’s for dinner and then the KOA pub to see Howard Livingston and the MM24 Band.  Fun!

A little cottage all decorated up.

Waiting for the show to start.

Out on Front Street.

Fri, Dec 26:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Cloudy again this morning.  And it looks like it’s going to stay that way for a while.  But with temps in the upper 70s.  Nice!  Tonight we head to the Waterfront Theater in Key West to see “Noises Off.”  We’ll head down early and check out some places to eat around Front Street and Duval.

Thu, Dec 25:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Cloudy this morning, but it cleared in time for our Christmas dinner at the clubhouse.  Gerald and Esther called and are going to join the party as well.  Four pork roasts and a ham were on the grill as we went over for cocktail hour and it smelled wonderful.  A good time was had by all.  Ate too much and drank too much.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Really warm again today.  In the afternoon a little front rolled through with lots of rain and even thunder.  Didn’t cool it down any.  It’s still warm and sultry.  If anything, it’s even more humid.  Watched our Netflix movie and I did some computer maintenance.  Pretty quiet day.

Tue, Dec 23, Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Had chores to do today.  Got the laundry and grocery shopping out of the way and then had pizza at Pizza Works.  Came home and put everything away.  Tired.  Sat outside reading in the warm sultriness fighting to stay awake.  Finally gave it up and succumbed to the air conditioned comfort of our fifth wheel.  85 today.

Key West.
