Tue, Jan 15;  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Not a very nice day today—weatherwise.  Really chilly.  We hunkered down inside all day.  Mike went out once to take the trash over and pick up our mail.  Watched two more episodes of “House of Cards.”  Left-over chili for dinner.  60s today.  Brrrr!

Mon, Jan 14:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Cool again this morning and it didn’t really warm up much.  We took care of the laundry and caught up with Karen, who was doing hers as well.  After accomplishing that we pretty much stayed in the rest of the day.  Mike went down to the office and paid for another month.  We have a Netflix to watch—“House of Cards” Season 5.  But I think we’ve already seen that.  We need Season 6.  Anyway, not sure if we’ll even go for happy hour tonight.  Mike’s back is bothering him a lot.  Staying inside in front of the fireplace and eating chili sounds pretty good.  Low 70s (maybe) and breezy.

Sun, Jan 13:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, Fl:  A cool start this morning but warmed up quickly.  I cleaned up some stuff in our site and the one next door after they left and walked it over to the dumpster.  Then a quiet day until later in the afternoon Jerry and Char walked by and we invited them over and then shortly after that Dale and Carolyn stopped over.  Wine and snacks ensued.  Had a lot of laughs and then we all split up.  Lower 80s today.  Made chili for dinner.  A cool down is in our future.

Sat, Jan 12:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Our neighbors in the motor home next to us left this morning.  Kinda glad they did because the way they were parked it blocked us in a bit.  Had to back and fill to get out and getting back in was worse.  A beautiful day today.  Off to the clubhouse for a pig roast.  Three of the guys in here (two maintenance guys and one long-term visitor) are buying the whole pig and cooking it up.  Nice.  Upper 70s today and a little windy.

Thursday, Jan 10:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Really chilly this morning.  But last night the stars were beautiful.  I can lay in bed and look out the window at them.  On the way over with the trash this morning I ran into Jim and Karen who just arrived a few days ago from South Carolina.  Their daughter lives in Key West with her two kids.  Nice people.  Not much going on today.  Everyone is just hunkered down inside and staying warm.  Our Netflix was in the mail today, so maybe we’ll watch that tonight.  60s today and W I N D Y.

Mon, Jan 7:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Maddie stopped by yesterday to see if we wanted to play Jokers at 1:00.  We opted out.  Had some football to watch, and I binge watched Season 2 of Victoria.  This morning we walked over to the laundry facility here in the park to do the laundry, but the machines are not working.  So we drove to Big Pine and did the laundry there.  Happy hour tonight at Mangrove Mama’s.  Upper 70s today.  If we don’t go out to eat tonight, we’ll have left-over pot roast from yesterday.

Sat, Jan 5:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  I drove up to Cudjoe Key for my nail appointment this morning.  Got that out of the way and then back home and Mike and I went to Pizza Works for lunch and then did some shopping.  Back home and I stayed inside reading.  A lot cooler today.  Walked over to Dale and Carolyn’s and imbibed a little.  Decided to play Jokers tonight at 7:00.  Should be fun.  A bunch of people in here are going into Key West tonight to see Caffeine Carl at Smoking Tuna.  They’re renting a cab or something so they don’t have to drive.  We opted out.  78 today with a north wind.
