Tue, Nov 5, 2019:  The Glades RV and Golf Resort, Moore Haven, FL:  Did some computer stuff this morning.  By the time I finished it was too hot to go for a walk.  Sat around reading for a while and then went into Labelle for lunch at the Log Cabin, a barbecue place.  Sat outside and read some more and then came inside and played spades for a while.  90 today.

Mon, Nov 4, 2019:  The Glades RV and Golf Resort, Moore Haven, FL:  After breakfast this morning I donned the back brace my sister gave me, grabbed my trekking poles and went for a long walk.  The brace really helped.  Our Canadian friends got here yesterday.  They stopped by last night for a brief visit.  Went to the office and picked up our mail and then got a key to the cabins and checked one of them out.  Really nice.  Around 3:30 the Canadians stopped over and we drank and visited for a couple of hours.  It’s great to see them.  89 today with a lot of clouds in the afternoon.

Sun, Nov 3, 2019:  The Glades RV and Golf Resort, Moore Haven, FL:  Went for my morning walk and checked out the marina and the clubhouse.  Clubhouse was locked—probably only open for events.  The activity building is over by the pool.  There’s also a gym of sorts.  Will have to check that out.  And the library.  We drove over to Labelle and did the grocery shopping and had lunch at a great Mexican restaurant.  Back home, put the groceries away and sat outside reading for a while.  It’s pretty cloudy in here right now and sprinkling off and on.  Only about 80 with all the clouds.  80 is good.

Sat, Nov 2, 2019:  The Glades RV and Golf Resort, Moore Haven, FL:  Went for a walk this morning while it was still cool.  Really nice.  Found the laundry room near us and discovered that the Canadians are just a couple of streets over.  We’re on Bourbon Street.  How apropos.  That was the best part of the day.  Then I started calling Dish to try and resolve our Dish issues.  They won’t send a tech over—even though they’re in here all the time.  Made me crazy. Found a retail outfit in Okeechobee.  She didn’t really want to come out because it’s 50 miles from them.  But they did.  After spending over an hour they finally got it going. She only charged me $99, but I paid her $150.  Well worth it.  Hope it works.  One of the gals from the office and her husband stopped by to see how we’re doing with Dish.  Gave her one of Suzanne’s cards.  Anyway, the day turned out okay eventually.  Upper 80s here today.

Fri, Nov 1, 2019:  Lake Pan RV Park, Lake Pan, FL, to The Glades RV and Golf Resort, Moore Haven, FL:  Left Lake Pan at 10:00 this morning under a sunny sky.  I drove for 1-1/2 hours and then Mike took over.  Ran into clouds around Sarasota.  A really smooth drive because I75 is really good road.  Only one slow down because of construction.  Got here at around 1:30 and set up.  I really like our site.  We’re next to a park model.  Didn’t put our mat out because we have a cement patio.  We have a great view of the golf course from our patio.  91 when we got here.  Hope it cools down a little.

Thu, Oct 31, 2019:  Lake Pan RV Park, Lake Pan, FL:  Met my sister and brother-in-law at a Cracker Barrel in Brooksville, FL.  Had a great lunch and it was great catching up.  Tomorrow we leave for our destination, The Glades RV and Golf Resort.  Hopefully it will only be a 3-1/2 hour drive.  86 here today.

Wed, Oct 30, 2019:  Tallahassee East RV Park, Tallahassee, FL, to Lake Pan RV Park, Lake Pan, FL:  Left Tallahassee at 9:45 and arrived in Lake Pan at 1:15. Only took 3-1/2 hours instead of 4.  After unhooking and getting set up, we did a load of laundry.  It’s HOT here.  Hope it cools down a little.  90 right now.  Have to get a bite to eat somewhere, since the soup I made for the trip is almost gone.  I’d rather go out anyway.
