Mon, Feb 24, 2020:  Another nice day today.  Went for my walk and then we headed to LaBelle to do groceries and laundry.  Happy hour with the Canadians.  Only two more days of warm weather and then the rest of the week it won’t get out of the 60s.  Bummer

Sun, Feb 23, 2020:  Sunny and nice today.  Fighting a cold, so didn’t do much.  Esther and Gerald stopped by on their way to get water.  Watching XFL football right now.  The St. Louis Battlehawks are playing the NY guardians.  They’re playing in St. Louis (sold out) and STL is winning.  Yes!  Mid-70s today.

Sat, Feb 22, 2020:  Really cool this morning.  A pretty day though.  We watched the third episode of “Shameless”.  Wouldn’t be bad outside if it wasn’t for the wind.  I have no desire to venture out.  Making enchiladas for dinner tonight.  Low 70s today.

Fri, Feb 21, 2020:  A nasty day today.  We decided to nix the movie.  Watched our Netflix—Season 9 of Shameless—and hunkered down inside.  Rainy, cool, and windy.  I think it’s in the 60s out there right now.  Need a day like this every once in a while.

Thu, Feb 20, 2020:  Really warm again today (YES!).  Went for my walk after my morning ablutions and then relaxed outside in the shade and read my book until the sun encroached and then moved inside.  Supposed to be a front coming through tonight and really cool tomorrow (71).  So, we’ll head to Ft. Myers and see “Call of the Wild.”  The wind picked up quite a bit, so we put the awning in.  High 80s today.

Wed, Feb 19, 2020:  Must have rained a little last night.  Everything a little wet.  Wiped the tables down and then took off for my walk.  Ran into Gerald on his way to get water.  There’s a reverse osmosis machine in the old workout building at the end of our street.  For 25 cents you get a gallon of water.  We have well water here and I guess it’s a little iffy.  Very hard.  We purchased a water softener, have several water filters, and I bought a Pur water pitcher with filter.  That should suffice.  Another hot and humid day.  Went to Crumb’s for lunch.  There have been two sightings of Florida panthers in here.  One in the tree line over by Crumb’s and one by the river.  I would love to see one.  Probably 85 here today and very humid.

Tue, Feb 18, 2020:  Hot today. Got my walk in early and then we headed to Ft. Myers.  Traffic terrible on I75 and then worse on Colonial Blvd.  Late for my appointment.  Mike dropped me off and got the truck washed and then picked up some things at Camping World.  He picked me up at 2:00 and then we stopped at the Boat House for dinner.  A beautiful day.  We sat at the bar overlooking the pool and watched all the pool rats.  I guess the pool is mainly for the boating people.  They have a nice marina and a bunch of really expensive boats.  Was 89 in Ft. Myers.  It’s still 85 here at 5:00.  A nice, warm day.
