Wed, Jul 1, 2020:  Day 103 of self-quarantine:  Another rainy and dark day today.  Placed a grocery order with Aldi and it was delivered around lunch time.  On the way back from his doctor appointment, Mike stopped at Burger King and picked up some burgers.  I got the vegi burger again.  It’s really good.  Ate the last of the beef tips and gravy for dinner.  Strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Tue, Jun 30, 2020:  Day 102 of self-quarantine:  A dark and gloomy day today.  Rained off and on.  Good day to curl up with a good book and binge watch stuff on TV.  Played spades with Nomad.  But he left me to play on by myself with my new partner.  Left-over beef tips and gravy tonight.

Mon, Jun 29, 2020:  Day 101 of self-quarantine:  Another nice overcast day.  Sat outside reading for a while, but the chaise was still wet from recent rain.  Got my butt soaked, so had to change into dry clothes.  Didn’t feel wet when I sat down.  Went to go inside and Mike had forgotten (I think) and locked me out. Thankfully, we have stairs down to the patio and I knocked on the office window for him to let me in.  Three hours later he did (kidding).  Steve called and we blabbed on the phone for over an hour. Played spades with Nomad for a while.  Making beef tips and gravy for dinner tonight. With mashed potatoes and a vegetable.  Mike loves it!   He always loves to see me barefoot and in the kitchen.

Sun, Jun 28, 2020:  Day 100 of self-quarantine:  Wow.  100 days.  Unbelievable!  At around noon we ordered gringo dip and chips from 54th Street Grill and watched the last season of Ozark.  An unbelievable ending.  Can’t wait for the next season.  Going to miss Netflix when we head south.  Another nice warm and humid day today.

On one of the trails around Mt. Rainier.  I miss hiking.

Sat, Jun 27, 2020:  Day 99 of self-quarantine:  Well, it was overcast all day.  Not sure if it was the dust cloud or just clouds.  Supposed to rain but hasn’t so far.  Did the laundry and then just relaxed and read my book.  Played spades with Nomad.  Left-over steaks for dinner.  Strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Fri, Jun 26, 2020:  Day 98 of self-quarantine:  Well, the big dust cloud was supposed to be over us today.  Didn’t see anything unusual, but I only went out to bring in the trash cans and later our grocery order.  It’s hot out there—94 I think.  Yesterday, while Mike and Darwin were shooting, Mike had to use the “out house” and when he went in there, there coiled up behind the loo was a rather large black snake.  He still was able to go.  I would have gone outside.  Of course he doesn’t have to sit down.  On that note, steaks, mashed potatoes, and corn for dinner tonight.  Looking forward to it.

Thu, Jun 25, 2020:  Day 97 of self-quarantine:  Well, Mike is off with Darwin skeet shooting this morning.  They’ve been looking forward since April.  I asked Mike if he had his Gatorade and he said of course.  Then an hour later he called and said it was in the freezer and to get it out of there before it exploded or something.  OK Mr. Man!  So, nothing to drink—great!  A nice day for it—although it will hit 90 today. Hope they can continue.  They used to go twice a week.  Hope they can keep going.

Off he goes...
