Mon, Dec 21, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Winter Solstice.  Days will start getting longer now.  Ran into LaBelle to run some errands and stopped at Beef O’Brady’s and picked up a to-go order.  Played spades with Nomad in the afternoon.  Made chili for dinner last night.  Left-overs of that tonight.  Have to watch the evening sky tonight.  Saturn and Jupiter are getting closer and closer and will overlap—causing a bright star in the sky.  We will have clear skies tonight, so we’ll see.

Sun, Dec 20, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Got the laundry out of the way this morning.  I walked up and back twice—so got my walk in.  After breakfast we started playing Rummy Cube in the screen room.  Broke for lunch and then continued playing after.  I won the first round and thought I finally could beat Mike.  But wishful thinking on my part.  The lowest score wins.  So far, I’m at 97 and Mike is at 88.  Game isn’t over yet though.  High 70s today.  Very pleasant.  Our neighbors went out for their Sunday motorcycle ride.  We are so boring.

The object of the game is to get rid of all your tiles.  What is left you add up for your score.  The lowest score wins.

Sat, Dec 19, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Slept in late again this morning and didn’t do much after that.  Mike did some trimming in the afternoon.  That’s about it.  80s today.

Fri, Dec 18, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  I got up this morning in the freezing cold, pulled my sweats on over my nightgown, donned my polartech and proceeded to take the trash out so Mike wouldn’t have to.  Came back in, took off my jacket and sweats and climbed back into bed for a while.  It was grey and dismal in the morning, but cleared off nicely to reveal a beautiful blue sky.  I started walking up to the office and Mike picked me up.  Didn’t get very far because I had a sore foot.  Dropped off our drawing for the driveway project, picked up our mail, and picked up a to-go order from Crumb’s.  Thanks Laura and Tim!  Watched a movie “45” while we ate.  Stuffed.  No dinner tonight. Playing spades with Nomad shortly.  60s today.

Thu, Dec 17, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Slept in late this morning.  Good morning for it since it was cloudy and cool.  Tried to call Consumer Cellular to get help with a wi-fi problem I’m having.  Too long a wait.  Talked with a guy in here who washed our RV.  Wanted him to wax it when he has time.  And, Mike did the drawing for how we want our driveway to look.  We’ll take it to the office tomorrow.  Haven’t walked in a while.  Tomorrow I’ll walk up to the office.  Probably in the high 60s out there right now.  Getting ready to play spades with Nomad.  Burgers for dinner tonight.

Wed, Dec 16, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Didn’t do much today.  Took the trash out to the road.  Talked with the guys that are going to design and make our driveway.  Read a little and played spades in the afternoon.  Low 80s today.  Rain tonight.

Tue, Dec 15, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Headed to Ft. Myers this morning.  Me for my infusion appointment.  My appointment was for 11:30.  I checked in at 11:15 and by 12:00 I still hadn’t been called.  Asked the person at the desk if they knew I was out there.  Apparently they didn’t. Finally, I got called in and prepped.  I was not happy. While I was in there, Mike got the truck washed.  On the way back we stopped at Camping World and then picked up two dinners at Cracker Barrel.  I got roast beef and Mike got a fried turkey dinner.  Both really good.
