Mon, Feb 8, 2021: The Glades RV Park:  Warm and humid today.  And very little wind.  After running errands in LaBelle, we picked up lunch and headed back.  Later on we patched up the screen room in places where the wind created some tears in places.  Got that taken care of and then played spades for a while.  Mid-80s out there and humid.

Sun, Feb 7, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Well, we’re all set to watch the Superbowl this afternoon, only to find out DISH no longer offers CBS.  What a crock!  We’ll have to watch it over the air.  What a horrible time to take it away!  I’m sure the phone lines are swamped with calls!  81 here today and really windy for a while.

 

Sat, Feb 6, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Pretty cloudy today.  Mike unloaded the ceramic tiles he bought yesterday at Ace Hardware.  He’s going to put them under the grill table and some under the landing legs of the RV.  That means we have to hook up the truck, raise the legs, put the ceramic tiles down, and then re-level the RV.  I’m dreading that.  Hope we remember how to do it!  Burgers for dinner.  81 here today.

While I was cleaning up yard debris, I saw one of these creepy little frogs.  They get inside and are a nuisance.

 

Fri, Feb 5, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Had to run errands in Clewiston today.  I started walking and Mike picked me up just short of the office.  Only about a mile.  But it felt good.  The blue sky was devoid of clouds—only the contrails of a jet up in the ether.  I made an appointment with the Eye Centers of Florida.  They have an office in Clewiston which is convenient.  Picked up lunch on our way home.  Played rummy cube in the screen room after lunch.  I’m still ahead (yay!).  81 here today.

Thu, Feb 4, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  The coldest night of the year so far.  The sun is shining brightly, but I only went out once.  Too cool to sit out there and read.  And I didn’t walk again today either.  Tomorrow is another day.  Upper 60s here today.

Wed, Feb 3, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  The only time I went out today was when I took the trash out at 5:00 this morning.  I should have gone for a walk this afternoon but my back was killing me.  A nice day, except for that chilly breeze.  Only 61 again today.  And it’s going down into the 30s again tonight.

Tue, Feb 2, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Cool and windy today.  The driveway guys showed up around 9:30 and were finished by 3:30.  They had to wait an hour and a half for the stone to show up.  It came out really really good.  Grilled chicken and my bean and vegetable salad tonight for dinner.  61 was the high today.  Supposed to get down into the 30s tonight.
