Left this morning at 9:45 a.m. Arrived at Caanan, ME, at about 4:30. Took more than 2 hours before we were past the Boston area—going around on the bypass. I would never want to live in Boston! The traffic is incredible. We stopped in Maine at a service area and had something to eat. Just north of Augusta, ME, we started seeing lots of beautiful wild flowers. And it’s pretty warm—upper 70s. It was supposed to get into the upper 90s in Plymouth, so we lucked out there I guess. We stay here just one night and then on to Quebec City.
