We decorated the palm tree in our campsite

Sugarloaf Key: This morning we headed out to do the laundry and grocery shopping. After that lovely chore was done we went to Pizza Works for their lunch special—2 pieces of pizza and a drink for $5. And they have great pizza. Back home and put everything away. We bought some Christmas lights and decorated the palm tree in our site. Isn’t that special. Went to dinner at Bobalu’s Southern Café on Big Coppit Key. While we were having dinner on the outside patio we hear this big crash. Turns out a car was turning into Bobalu’s parking lot and a guy on a motor cycle hit him. We all went outside and he was lying in the street. No helmet. He was moving his legs okay but his head wasn’t in good shape at all. The car he hit was pretty demolished—not to mention the bike. We finished dinner and left and of course the traffic is tied up in both lanes and there are emergency vehicles all over. Then about 1/8 mile north of the accident there was another two-car accident and while we were standing there in the parking lot watching the tow trucks there was a third—three cars this time. What a mess! They were rerouting traffic through Bobalu’s parking lot. Then this fire truck shows up all decorated with Christmas lights with a guy dressed as Santa on top and playing Christmas music. It was pretty weird. Finally, we were able to get out of there. Hope the poor biker is ok.
