Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL: Another cool and cloudy morning, so we headed to Big Pine to do the laundry. After getting everything in the washer we went next door to Coco’s Kitchen for breakfast. A cute little place. I had bacon, eggs, home fries, and Cuban bread and Mike had ham and eggs. The place is run by a mother/daughter team. A very friendly local place and the food is great and very reasonable. The walls were covered with beautiful watercolor paintings. The artist was an older gentleman sitting at the table next to us. He still paints but says he’s retired now. The owner of the place also feeds a local stray cat every day. This poor cat was so wary of people—probably with good reason. Finished the laundry and headed home. After putting everything away we headed to Key West to go see “The Morgans” with Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant. A really cute movie. We were the only ones in the theater. Came back and had left-over chili for dinner.
