Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf
Key, FL: Nice morning—albeit a little cool and breezy. Went for a bike ride with Esther and Gerald—a
route he takes over to Venture Out RV Resort on Cudjoe Key. Going into the wind at first which was tough
going. But we crossed over Hwy. 1 and
took a path in the buttonwoods and mangroves, so the wind wasn’t an issue. This was probably the old Hwy. 1. Crossed over Hwy 1 again and then down Spanish Main to Venture Out. This is a much nicer park than Lazy Lakes, but Mike really likes where
we are. This is a gated community, but
we biked in like we belonged there, so nobody challenged us. Biked around and stopped to see some friends
who are staying there. Then headed back
and stopped at a little deli and had some lunch. Then continued back. A fun outing.
Picked up our Netflix at the office and then headed home to a hot
shower. Howard Livingston is at the KOA
tonight and I’d like to go for a while, but I’m the only one. I may go over anyway.
Stopped at a little park on the Atlantic--Venture Out
