Fri, Jan 12, azy Lakes RV Park,
Sugarloaf Key, FL: Thought
we might head into Key West today since it might be the only decent day we have
for a while. But, before long the clouds
rolled in. So, we went to the Galley
Grill on Summerland Key and had lunch.
While we were sitting there, a helicopter flew over—VERY LOW. It made a VERY STEEP bank and turned around
heading right over Hwy 1. Thought maybe
they were after someone, but we finally figured out they were spraying
insecticide. He made several more passes
with steep banks—back and forth. Each
one went more and more inland. That was
our excitement for the day. Back home
and just as we got inside it started pouring down rain. In the afternoon we picked up our Netflix and
the rest of our mail from the office and settled in for the evening. Made it to 80, then cooled down with the rain
into the mid-70s.
