Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:    Another beautiful day in paradise.  Charlie stopped over with Maple.  Sat around talking with him.  He’s not feeling great. And I’m starting to get a sore throat and not feeling too great either.  There are a lot of people in the park not feeling great, so there’s something going around.  And just when I was starting to feel normal after the sinus infection or whatever it was I had.  Go figure.  We did our usual laundry and grocery shopping.  Then stopped for lunch at the Square Grouper. Got back, put everything away, and sat around relaxing and reading.  Upper 70s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  A nice, sunny day—but chilly with the wind.  Just hung out most of the day inside.  Was too chilly to read outside.  Charlie stopped over for a little while as well as Dale.  Other than that, today was pretty relaxing and uneventful.  Watched a program on PBS about the Burmese pythons on the loose down in the Everglades.  Really creepy.  That’s where we’re headed when we leave here in three weeks.  Upper 60s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  Pretty nice day today.  A little on the cool side, but sunny and nice.  Mike went over for donuts this morning while I started the cleaning.  When he went off to play shoes in the afternoon I finished up the cleaning and then watched a program on the Queen that I taped yesterday.  We’re having dinner with Charlie and Johanne tonight.  Valentine’s Day dinner at Michaels.  Should be fun.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  Today dawned bright and sunny, but cool and windy.  Spent most of the day inside slaving over a hot stove.  Cooked a big breakfast—eggs, sausage, biscuits and juice.  Later on I baked a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.  And then pasta for dinner.  Read my book in between cooking and baking stints.  Watched a great program on PBS about the Tamiami Trail.  Very interesting.  Also watched two more episodes of “The Pacific”.  High 60s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  Today was a worse day than yesterday.  Cool, windy, and rainy.  We decided to head to the Tropic Cinema in Key West to see “Inside Job” which is a documentary about the financial debacle and was narrated by Matt Damon.  Everyone should see this movie.  Very eye opening.  Anyway, we planned on the 2:15 movie.  Parked by the Eco Center and walked through Truman Annex in the wind and cold.  Got to the theater and they were sold out.  So, we bought tickets for the 4:30 show and left to go over to the Key West Speedway so Mike could do some races and we could kill some time in a warm place.  They were having a private party, so, undaunted, we walked around Mallory Square for a while and hit some shops until the 4:30 movie time.  The movie was worthwhile—everyone should see it.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  A little chilly and breezy this morning under solid grey clouds.  I know that beautiful blue sky is up there somewhere.  But will it show itself today?  Well, my shorts and tee were quickly exchanged for sweats and a sweatshirt.  Blustery and cloudy all day.  We’re off this evening for a sumptuous dinner and great show at La Te Da.  Ralph and Sharon are going with us.  They’ve never been before so it should be fun.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  Another nice day.  Charlie and Maple stopped by on their way around the lake.  Charlie and Johanne are hosting the dinner tonight, so I’m sure they’ll be busy.  We went over at 4:00 to help them set up, along with Sharon and Ralph.  Their theme was Valentine’s Day and they did such a good job carrying it off.  I guess 60 people showed up for the dinner and they had a band also in the pool area.  The only problem with the band is you can’t really carry on a conversation.  After finishing cleaning up, Charlie, Johanne, Mike and I moved to a table out by the pool and finished off our wine.  A fun night.
