Thu, Dec 18:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Didn’t get a very early start this morning.  Thought about going out for breakfast, but we waited too long.  Just hung out today.  After lunch we watched one of our Netflix.  After that we went for a spin on our bikes.  Not sure if I like my new seat or not.  Have to make up my mind pretty quick or they won’t take it back.  Left-over pasta for dinner.

A visitor.

Wed, Dec 17:  Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Another sunny, cloudless day today.  Our friends who run a RV washing service came at 10:30 and washed the fifth wheel.  They waxed just the cap this year.  It’s now sparkling.  Put everything back where it belonged and sat outside reading for a while.  Jo stopped by to say hello with her dog, Munch.  They are leaving in January and moving to the Orlando area.  I guess they’ve lived here for 5 years or so.  At 5:30 we headed to Key West to see “Last Night at Ballyhoo” at the Red Barn Theater. This Tony award winning play takes place in 1939 Atlanta, on the eve of WWII and during the premier of “Gone With the Wind.” Ballyhoo was a sort of ball that took place in Atlanta every year back in the day.  Before the play we had dinner at the Hard Rock CafĂ© which is right next door to the theater.  And it was warm enough to dine alfresco.  As we left our parking spot around the Eco Center, we ran into a trio of twenty-somethings—two guys and a girl who had on a very short red jump suit and three-inch wedge heels.  On returning to our parking spot four hours later we ran into the same trio very inebriated.  She still looked cute in her very short red jumpsuit, but she could barely walk in those three-inch wedge heels.

The San Carlos Theater all decorated for Christmas.

Waiting for the doors to open at the Red Barn Theater.

The cute little set at the Red Barn.
