Wed, 8/4/10

Wagon Trail RV Resort, Ellison Bay, WI: Started out cloudy this morning but cleared off nicely. I went for a walk over to Rowley’s Bay and came back via the trails through the woods. Mike went to the lounge to do some computer stuff for a couple of hours. Other than that, it was a kick back day. Salads and left-overs for dinner and watched 3 more episodes of The Sopranos. Mid-80s today.

Wagon Trail RV Resort, Ellison Bay, WI: After showering, dressing, and breakfast I went over to the lounge to work on the computer. Really warm already. Before I left we had decided to charter a sailboat for a few hours. Mike had set up a 12:30 time and he came and picked me up. We went out on a 40-foot sailboat with another couple plus the captain. Sailed down towards Horseshoe Island and Peninsula State Park. A beautiful, breezy day. We sailed around Horseshoe Island and headed back to Sister Bay. He had the boat heeled over pretty good for a while. Then the wind died down and he had to run the engine. And with no breeze it was really hot. I wanted to jump in that cool water really bad. Got back and said our good-byes and then we headed to the grocery store and one of the farm markets and then back to our site and put everything away. I took another shower and then we had salads for dinner. Watched the last episodes of “Band of Brothers”. Mid-90s today.
