Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Sugarloaf Key, FL: A nice warm day today with large cumulus clouds dark with moisture that blew in and just as quickly blew out. After lunch we took the bikes and rode them over to the KOA to see if Mark was around. Before we turned into the KOA though we rode down to the end of this road where there are two beautiful homes. The paved road turns into a dirt road that goes to the old burned out bridge. Decided to do that another day and we rode back to the KOA. Mark wasn’t around so we continued up Rt. 1 to Bow Channel to see if we could get on the bridge—which is closed right now for repairs. Thought we could sneak under the barrier, but they had it barricaded with wire fencing, so no way we could do it. Rode back and stopped at Mangrove Mama’s for a couple of drinks. After our drinks we biked back to the KOA to see if Mark had returned. No luck. So we biked back home, stopping at Esther and Gerald’s for a quick hello. Back home and I took another shower since I got pretty sweaty. Left-overs for dinner.
