Bike Path on the Canal

Another beautiful day. Deep blue sky with a few wispy clouds. Mike made a fire and we enjoyed that early. I did a load of laundry and then we took the bikes and went over to the Cape Cod Canal. This is a great recreation area for walking, biking, fishing, or just picnicig. There are bike paths on both sides of the canal. The canal goes from Buzzards Bay to Cape Cod Bay and eliminates the need to go all around the “hook”. We set out and we were heading right into the wind so it was hard going for a while. Coming back was a breeze--literally. We hardly had to pedal. We leave tomorrow for Maine.
