Wagon Trail RV Resort, Ellison Bay, WI: Pretty chilly this morning. Really wanted to stay under the covers. Showered and dressed. Mike made a fire and we sat out there for a while. Everyone around here is so glad for the cooler weather. Me, I want it to be warm again so we can go to the little park and swim in the lake again. We ended up taking down and cleaning the mini-blinds on five of the eight windows. That created a lot of angst. Got them all back in place. Cleaned up and then drove to Sturgeon Bay and saw a movie—“Inception” with Leonardo DeCaprio. A weird movie with a convoluted plot—if you can call it a plot. The only thing that made the experience interesting was a bat that was flying around inside the theater. There were only us and one other couple in there. This woman had her jacket over her head. Why do people think bats are going to get in your hair? Ridiculous! A couple of times the bat flew close enough that we could feel the breeze from its wings though.

Wagon Trail RV Resort (Site 434), Ellison Bay, WI: Another nice warm day. Mike headed over to the office/lounge to try and get reservations at Rock Island. Nothing to be had. The site we want isn’t available until August 26. The only two sites available are on the beach, which we don’t want. So, I guess we won’t be going over to Rock Island with our packs. After that we did the grocery shopping and came back and put it all away. Had left-over pasta for dinner and watch more episodes of “Winds of War”.
