Sat, Jan 7, Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  Our foray into Key West yesterday was fun.  Except that we can’t park by the Coast Guard cutter for a while.  It’s now a staging area for the yacht races which are taking place in a week or so.  But we parked at the Eco Center—just a little longer walk.  The movie was good.  Sad though because it takes place the four days after the Kennedy assassination.  Back home and poured some wine and went over to Dale and Carolyn’s for a little while. She was working on her plants.  I call them the “death plants” because they kill the iguanas if they dare to eat any of them. This morning I got up, showered, had some breakfast and waited for Mike to emerge.  Walked around the lake and ran into Karen going the other way.  Waited for Mike to get himself together and then we went to the Flea Market at Big Pine and ran into some more Lazy Lakers.  I bought a thumb ring and some produce.  Wanted to get some spices, but the spice lady isn’t here yet.  Over to a little lunch place by Winn Dixie we found.  Had BLTs and I got a bagel to go.  When we emerged from this little lunch place, the skies were dark and ominous looking.  We headed home and it poured down rain and the wind increased.  It was 82 when we left and 72 when we got home.  Guess the cold front came through.

Cock your Doodle Do!!

My new thumb ring.  How cool!
