Left Newburgh this morning at about 10:45. Arrived in Old Mystic at around 3:00. Another nice day. A pretty drive in places. But most of the cities along the Connecticut coast are pretty industrial. Still really hilly and heavily wooded though. After we got set up we sat outside for a while but it was pretty windy so we came back in. Drove into Old Mystic and Mystic and had dinner at the S&P Oyster Co. on the Mystic River. Saw this beautiful, three-masted square rigger. Huge! Walked around the shops and then drove around the area and checked out some of the really old, historic homes—1700s. Really pretty area..

Slept in again this morning. Mike outside feeding the chipmunks. Hand washed some stuff and hung it out. Then over to the computer lounge to update the blog and catch up on some stuff. Spent way too much time over there. It’s a beautiful day and this is the prettiest KOA we’ve ever been too—with lots of stuff around to see and do. I went over to the computer lounge and checked the banking, updated our blog, and did the instant message thing with David. Didn’t finish up until 4:00. Mike had cleaned the outside of the fifth wheel while I was gone and it looks great. After dinner sat outside and read for a while. Beautiful evening.
