Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A warm and sultry day today.  Charlie stopped by early with Maple.  I had just gotten up.  Made him a cup of coffee and gave Maple a treat or two.  Had a great time last night at the KOA.  My back was sore when we got home after some guy I was dancing with was flinging and twirling me around. Took a couple of Aleve and today it’s fine. Going down Johnson Road on our way to the KOA last night, there was a beautiful sunset on one side of the road and a beautiful moon rise on the other.  Doesn’t get any better than that!  Had breakfast this morning at the Galley Grill and then did a bunch of errands.  Lots of traffic out there on Highway 1.  We’ll be glad when the holidays are over and it quiets down a bit.  Sat outside reading my book after we got home, enjoying the warm sun and tropical breezes.

Johanne getting Howie to sign one of his CDs

They fired up the old Johnson outboard to make a batch of margaritas.  They auction off the first one.  This guy bid $1000 and was the high bidder, so he got to make the first batch.  The money goes to Kare Kamp which sends children with cancer and other illnesses to camp for free.
