Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Another spectacular day!  We had dropped off our bikes at the Big Pine bike shop for tune-ups a couple of days ago.  So we drove back to pick them up.  Took a bike ride down past the blue hole to the end of the road.  Saw a couple of key deer at the end of the road.  Stopped at the blue hole on our way back and checked it out.  There was a small gator in there and the water is much higher this year.  Actually the water is much higher everywhere—especially in the flats.  And Mike’s back didn’t bother him at all while we were biking.  But the walk to the blue hole from where we parked our bikes was all it took to get it aching.  At least we can go bike riding without it bothering him.  This was the first time we’d been biking in a year, and I sure felt it—at first anyway.  It’s only about a 12-mile ride, but my butt and legs were feeling it.  Back home and got cleaned up a little and put a pork roast in the oven.  Mid-80s again today.

A small male.

This little one came up to my knees!

A couple of big turtles at the Blue Hole.
