Fri, Nov 4: Fairview-Riverside SP, Mandeville, LA: Up early this morning
anticipating the arrival of a mobile RV repair guy set up by our RV dealer back
in St. Louis. We hung around all
morning. When we didn’t hear from him,
we called him after lunch. He didn’t
even bother to return the call. Called
again. No return call. What a terrible way to do business. So, we called another service in the
area. Hopefully we’ll have better luck
there. In the meantime, we walked over
to the river and sat for a while enjoying the beauty of this place. A beautiful day. We sat outside reading for a while. One of the girls in the RV across from us
stopped by with her dog, “Monroe”, a golden doodle. Neat dog, but very wary. A nice, relaxing day, but disappointing in
that the mobile RV repair guy never showed up.
We may have to wait until Sarasota to get it fixed.
