Fri, Mar 4, Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A beautiful morning—the sun shining and the birds singing away. We’re going over to Dale and Carolyn’s site this afternoon along with our neighbor, Larry, and another couple. We’re all bringing steaks and cooking them on their grill. Carolyn is baking some potatoes, I’m bringing a salad, and Char and Jerry are bringing bread. Should be a fun night.

Thu, Mar 3, Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Mike had to head to the GMC dealer in Key West this morning because he received a recall notice about a possible loose bolt in the brake area of the truck. After he got back from that he headed to Big Pine to run some more errands. I did absolutely nothing and loved every minute of it. I started a new book that our neighbor, Larry, gave me about the Alaskan gold rush in the 1890s. Really good read. So, I just lazed around reading. Dale and Carolyn wandered over later in the afternoon and we enjoyed a glass or two of wine. The no-seeums drove everyone inside. Except for me—I stayed out and continued reading my book. A really nice day today—warm but cloudy. Low 80s I think.
