Tue, Dec 22, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Went out last night after sundown to view Saturn and Jupiter in the night sky.  They were pretty close together.  Supposedly when they lined up together the “star” would get really bright.  We waited for a while but they hadn’t moved much, so we went in and came back in an hour.  And they were gone!  What the hell?  Where did they go?  Mike said over the horizon—all the planets keep rotating blah, blah, blah.  I need to take an astronomy course.  Frank came over and waxed the fifth wheel.  Chilly today—only in the 60s.  Yesterday while playing spades with Nomad, one of our opponents lost three uncles in 5 days to covid.  And her partner lost his wife in April to breast cancer.  A sad table.  And Frank, the guy that waxed our fifth wheel recently lost his wife.  She was in hospice care when she got covid and that took her.  Hope everyone is careful.  There’s a new, viral strain out there that’s much more contagious.  Great.  Left-over chili tonight.
