Land-o-Lakes, FL: Hung out on the lanai again today. Ate more turkey. Played Spades. Another warm day, but cloudy.

Land-o-Lakes, FL: Taking a break from Sandy & Dan’s today. They have a bunch of stuff to do. Did a load of laundry, and while it was in the dryer we went for a walk around the campground. There are some really nice “permanent” or “seasonal” sites in here. Most people keep them up really nice—with nice landscaping and neat, clean grounds. Also some really nice park models in here. Some of the sites are on a couple of little lakes and some of them back up to a bunch of pine trees. Not too bad. We’d rather be further south in the Keys where it never really gets cold. It can get pretty cool here in the Tampa area in the winter.

Sponge Docks, Tarpon Springs

Land-o-Lakes, FL: The four of us drove over to Tarpon Springs and walked around the craft fair. Then went down to the sponge docks and checked out some of the shops. A beautiful day—80s. Humid. Back to Sandy and Dan’s. Lorell and Danny came over and we all played Spades for a while. Eating way too much.

Sat, 11/24/07

Land-o-Lakes, FL: Had turkey left-overs and played Spades. Later we watched the Missouri football game. At half time we left and came back to the campground and watched the rest of the game. Missouri won! Great game.

Fri, 11/23/07

Land-o-Lakes, FL: Went back around lunch time and had turkey sandwiches. Mike and Dan watched some football. Sandy and I went for a walk and then sat outside on the lanai reading our books. Played Spades later. A chilly night.

Thu, 1122/07

Land-o-Lakes, FL: Thanksgiving day. We left for Sandy’s early since we were doing the dressing. Arrived there about 9:00 and had the turkey stuffed and in the oven by 10:00. Spent the rest of the day relaxing, watching TV, and playing Spades. Ate dinner at about 5:00. Stuffed ourselves. Got an e-card from David, Steven, and Sean. Michele called.

Wed, 11/21/07

Land-o-Lakes, FL: Up this morning and showered. Then we decided to get the dressing started for tomorrow’s dinner. Browned the sausage, chopped the apple and celery and put it all in baggies so we won’t have to do it tonight or tomorrow morning. Then headed over to Sandy and Dan’s. Hung out and played Spades. Left early so we could get up early and go over and start the turkey. A beautiful day—in the 80s.
