Mon, Dec 30, 2019:  A nice, mostly sunny day today.  We headed out to do the grocery shopping.  Got that done and then had lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant.  Later in the afternoon we went over to Mark’s site across the road from us for happy hour.  Going to go with them on New Year’s Eve to a home nearby for a New Year’s Eve celebration.  We’re going to caravan over there following Mark, since he’s the only one that knows where it is.  Low80s today.

Ashford Castle--where we stayed in Ireland.

Sun, Dec 29, 2019:  Sprinkled off and on again today.  So we took care of some chores.  Mike made French toast late morning which was really good.  Trying to decide whether or not to go to Grumpy’s for dinner.  Probably not if it keeps raining.  Hoping to contact someone at Geek Squad to load Windows 10 on our laptops.  So far no luck.  Low 80s today.

Red Mountain Pass in Colorado.  Had to go over this twice.  Once with the fifth wheel and once without.  Scary.  No guard rails, no shoulder, 1000 ft. straight down in places.

Sat, Dec 28, 2019:  The only way to describe today is WET.  The only thing we had to do today was pick up a script at the CVS in Clewiston.  And of course it wasn’t ready because they didn’t have it in stock (sigh).  On the way in we ran into a deluge.  I was freaking out because we were hydroplaning a little now and then.  Rt. 80 is a four-lane limited access highway, but because of construction it’s two lanes only in places.  Really dangerous.  We were going to have lunch at our newfound tiki bar, but decided instead to go to Sonny’s Barbecue.  Stopped at Walmart to pick up that crazy game we played on Christmas day.  Turns out it’s not a Canadian game after all.  Low 80s today.

Our site on a much drier day.

Fri, Dec 27, 2019:  Hung around all morning.  Rained off and on.  When it finally cleared off enough to go for a walk, we headed out and on our way back saw Mark taking down his Christmas decorations.  Stopped and talked with them for a while and they invited us over for happy hour.  Met a bunch of new people.  Their site is across the road from us.  So we took a couple of chairs, some wine and joined the group.  The guys played corn hole for a while.  There were about 15 people over there.  We had a great time.  Thinking about joining them for New Years at a place near here.  A guy from the park plays in the band.  Low 80s today.

Bill, Abby, and Daisy out for their "poop" walk.

Daisy stopped by for a visit and jumped onto my lap.

Thu, Dec 26, 2019:  We had a great time with the Canadians yesterday.  Had a great meal and lots of fun playing games and also with their traditional mystery gift exchange.  I made way too much stuffing, so we’ll be eating that for a while.  The weather was great until we left to come home and it started raining.  Today has been a mix of clouds and sun and sprinkles now and then.  But it’s in the 80s.  Windy.  That’s okay because we didn’t plan on doing anything anyway.  Just relaxing and trying to digest all the gluttony from yesterday.

Tue, Dec 24, 2019:  Went over to Esther and Gerald’s for happy hour last night.  Charlie and Johanne were there also.  Going to Crumb’s this afternoon for a Christmas Eve dinner.  Tomorrow we go over to Esther and Gerald’s for Christmas dinner along with Charlie and Johanne.  Will be fun!  Merry Christmas all!

Sun, Dec 22, 2019:  Rained most of the night and is supposed to rain all day.  You need a day like this every once in a while.  You can nap, read a book, or play games on-line without guilt.  That’s what we’re doing today.  Still windy and in the mid-70s.  Not bad.
