Thu, Jul 16, 2020:  Day 118 of self-quarantine:  The painters showed up today.  They’re prepping the building now.  It’s nice today, but only going to get hotter.  I ordered groceries yesterday and thankfully asked for delivery today.  Good thing because we had a rather severe storm just about the time it would have been delivered.  Upper 80s today.

Wed, Jul 15, 2020:  Day 117 of self-quarantine:  Mike and Darwin went skeet shooting today.  Just beat the weather system coming through.  We had a pretty severe thunder storm roll through about 4:00 and lost our power briefly.  Everything back to normal now.  Had to reset all the clocks twice.  Power kept going out.  Low 90s today.

Tue, July 14, 2020:  Day 116 of self-quarantine:  The painters didn’t show up again today.  Did some cleaning and gave myself a mani and pedi.  Would love to get my hair cut, but too many new covid cases.  Not as bad as Florida.  What a mess that state is.  But still no mask mandate.  Just don’t understand.  Upper 80s today.  And into the upper 90s in a couple of days.  I made an eight-bean salad for dinner.  Mike is going to grill burgers.

July 13, 2020:  Day 115 of self-quarantine:  We’re all ready for the painters.  Of course they didn’t show up.  We’ll see what tomorrow brings.  Last night we ordered dinner from 54^th Street Grill.  I had a steak dinner and Mike had a craft sandwich.  Both were really good.  I still have some left for tonight.  Upper 80s today.  Nice.

July 12, 2020:  Day 114 of self-quarantine:  Well, we removed all the furniture from the deck this morning.  The chaise was the worst.  Pretty heavy.  I’ll hire some people to lug it back up there.  It’s only every 6 years.  Our deck seems pretty empty now.  Hope they get the painting done quickly.  Mid-80s today.

July 11, 2020:  Day 113 of self-quarantine:  Decided not to try and take the deck furniture off today because it’s supposed to be in the high 90s.  Tomorrow it will be in the low 80s.  So, we’ll do it then.  Did the laundry and played spades for a while.

July 10, 2020:  Day 112 of self-quarantine:  A really nice day today.  Not too hot with a pleasant breeze.  Did an on-line grocery order and it was delivered by 11:00.  Got that all sanitized and put away.  Had lunch and watched a Netflix documentary about Ann Frank.  An amazing girl.  Have to get our deck furniture off the deck so the power washing and painting can commence.  We’ll probably do that tomorrow.
