Wed, Oct 7, 2020:  It’s starting to look more and more like fall.  The trees are showing off their fall colors.  But the weather!  It was 89 today!  Unbelievable.  Mike and Darwin shot skeet today.  What a beautiful day for it.

 

Fri, Sep 25, 2020:  We’ve been enjoying some beautiful fall weather.  Trees are starting to turn and nights are cool.  I voted yesterday.  Was great.  No lines at that time.  We tried on first day of early voting but it was slammed.  Tried later that day, and still slammed.  Low 80s today.  Guess we’re going to order in for dinner.  Not sure what.

The Korean war memorial was the most impressive and moving.

There was this marble wall along the walkway with ghost-like images of the soldiers.  Unfortunately, it reflected people on the walkway as well.

 

Mon, Sep 21, 2020:  Just watched the documentary “RBG” and the movie, “On the Basis of Sex,” based on Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s life.  She was amazing.  R.I.P. Notorious RBG.  She fought for women and minority rights and will be sorely missed.

Thu, Sep 17, 2020:  A beautiful week in store for us.  Temps in the 70s all week.  Mike and Darwin shot skeet yesterday. They had a beautiful day for it.  Went for a walk early this morning.  It was quite chilly.  In jeans now.  Left-over pot roast for dinner tonight.  Chocolate cream pie for dessert.

Wed, Sep 2, 2020:  Mike shot skeet with Darwin today.  I cleaned out cupboards and drawers.  It has really cooled down.  In the 70s out there right now.  Mike picked up burgers for lunch.  After lunch we played spades for a while again.

Selling my Asolo hiking boots.  No more extreme hiking.  I miss it though.  A lot.

Tue, Sep 1, 2020:  We finally got some rain today.  We need it badly.  Not sure what we’re having for dinner tonight.  Sandwiches, I guess.  I think it’s in the 80s out there.  Haven’t even been outside today.  Played spades for a while with Nomad.

Haven't seen any of these around in a while.  Wonder if they still make them?
