Sat, Nov 20, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Cloudy, windy and threatening rain all day today.  We ran errands in Clewiston this morning and picked up some lunch.  Got the laundry out of the way after lunch and then just sat around reading.  We’re now watching the Missouri/Florida football game.  Mike’s mood will depend on the outcome of the game.  So far, so good.  Upper 70s today.

Fri, Nov 19, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Went to my two exercise classes this morning.  The foundation one at 10:15 and chair yoga at 11:00.  At the end of chair yoga I noticed there was only one person in the pool, so I went home, put on my bathing suit and back to the pool.  Thought swimming would make my back feel better, but it didn’t.  The pool felt good though.  Think I’ll continue with the chair yoga, but skip the foundation exercises.  Think it aggravates my back.  Sitting outside for lunch at Crumb’s and it started raining. Came inside and finished our lunch.   Felt pretty safe because there weren’t many people  in there.  Nobody wears masks here.  It’s okay outdoors, but I think risky indoors.  Back home and laid down for a while.  My back is much better now.  Happy hour later.  Low 80s here today.

Thu, Nov 18, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Had an eye appointment in Clewiston this morning.  Took two hours!  I still can’t see very well.  We picked up lunch and came back and stuffed ourselves.  I laid down after lunch to rest my eyes and fell asleep.  Mike drove me to the appointment and had to wait in the truck.  At least he had a book with him. If there are any errors in this missive, you can blame the Florida Eye Center.  Had a nice happy hour last night with our neighbors.  Mike didn’t feel like going.  I’m glad I did—it was fun.  Mid-70s today and rained off and on.  Supposed to get worse shortly.

Wed, Nov 17, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Went over to the Activity Center this morning for a 10:15 foundation exercise with Harry.   Lasted about 45 minutes.  Not sure if it helped or not.  I’ll try again on Friday.  Didn’t seem to help my back at all.  After that I did the chair yoga at 11:00.  That was pretty good.  I’ll do that again on Friday.  Our big challenge today was securing the rachet straps to the screen room.  Not easy.  I finally got on YouTube and found some instructions.  So Mike thinks he’s got it.  We’ll see.  I need a drink.  Mid-80s today and breezy.

Tue, Nov 16, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  A nice day today, although it started out rather cool.  Had lunch at Crumb’s and watched the yachts go by.  Six of them.  It is part of the intercoastal waterway.  Played spades with Nomad in the afternoon and later on I walked down to the happy hour place, but it looked like a private party with food, so I walked back and enjoyed the sunset at our site.  High 70s today and breezy.

Mon, Nov 15, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  An uneventful day today.  I was stuck at our site waiting for UPS to pick up my return and Mike went to Cape Coral to get his hearing aid fixed.  UPS showed up at almost 2:30. Quite chilly this morning.  Hopefully that is over for a week anyway. Low 70s today.

Sun, Nov 14, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Did the grocery shopping today instead of tomorrow because Mike has to go to Cape Coral tomorrow to get his hearing aid fixed and I have to be at our site so UPS can pick up an item I’m returning.  Couldn’t find a turkey breast at the grocery store, so I picked up a shoulder roast.  So we’ll have a pot roast for thanksgiving dinner.  Todd invited us over to their (happy hour) place for thanksgiving dinner, but I think we’ll just stay here, have our dinner and watch football. Picked up lunch at Beef O’Brady’s.  Mostly cloudy and 74 today.
