Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  Started out nice this morning.  Charlie stopped over with his dog, Maple.  Talked with him for a while.  Mike went off to get a paper and I did all the cleaning.  Sat outside reading for a while.  Saw a huge fish in our lake.  It wasn’t the grouper.  Not sure what it was.  And Fat Albert was really low again for the second day in a row.  Not sure what’s going on there.  Cooled off later on and we moved inside.  Had an eye of the round roast, mashed potatoes, and a vegetable for dinner.  Maybe 70 today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  While laying in bed this morning I peeked out the window to a sky socked in with clouds.  Half an hour later I looked out and the sky was clear and blue.  Got up, showered, dressed and joined Mike outside with my smoothie.  It was warm enough for shorts.  So we headed out for breakfast and the flea market.  It was 80 driving to Big Pine.  Made a quick trip around the flea market.  Then drove back under banks of low grey clouds.  Still warm enough though.  Sat outside reading our latest books.  Sprinkled off and on, then cooled suddenly and started raining in earnest.  Back in my sweats.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A nice day today.  A really, really nice day.  We started out in sweats but quickly changed into shorts and tees.  Sat outside reading for a while and enjoying the beautiful blue sky and gentle tropical breezes.  Walked around the lake and ran into Sandy, John and their guest.  Talked with them for a while then continued on.  The lake is absolutely pristine.  Makes me want to get my snorkel gear out and do some snorkeling.  Walked to the end of Johnson Road and then came back and sat around trying to cool off.  We actually worked up a sweat.  Ray stopped over with his dog, Munch.  He and his wife, Jo, lived on a sailboat for over 10 years.  We got talking about that and he went down to their site to get some pictures and he and Jo came back together and we looked through their albums.  A really nice boat!  Must have been an experience.  They hung around most of the afternoon.  We talked about going to Mangrove Mama’s for dinner, but I ended up making pasta.  It’s great living on Key West Time again!  77 today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  This morning was bright and sunny.  And it warmed up quickly to the low 70s.  While I was waiting for Mike to get ready I walked over to the office to put our Netflix in the mail and talked to Linda and Donna briefly.  Walked back.  Can’t believe how rubbery my legs felt walking.  We decided to go to the Galley Grill for breakfast.  Mike stopped at the Post Office to mail some stuff and I walked the rest of the way—stopping at a sandal shop along the way.  Mike got to the Galley Grill before I did and was wondering what had happened to me.  It was too late for breakfast, so we ordered lunch.  I took most of mine back.  We stopped at our favorite bakery and bought some of their cookies.  Back to our site and sat outside reading for a while.  It clouded up and seemed to cool off—at least to me.  Felt good to be outside though.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Feeling better today, but only went out once.  Stayed inside the rest of the day.  Cooked up a big breakfast.  Fried up some potatoes with peppers and onions, along with sausage, eggs and biscuits.  Mike went out to run some errands later and I got the keyboard out and played some Christmas carols.  A pretty day—sunny and nice—but only in the 50s.  Tomorrow is supposed to be back in the 70s.  Left-over chili for dinner.  Watched the animated movie, “Up”.  Really cute!

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Only got up into the 50s today.  Went out once.  Couldn’t wait to get back inside.  Still feeling lousy.  Stayed inside all day lying around and bundled up.  Mike biked over to the office to get the mail.  He’s so brave.  Tomorrow is supposed to be slightly warmer.  Slightly.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Woke up this morning feeling dreadful.  You’d think I’d be feeling better by now.  Headed to Big Pine to do the laundry and grocery shopping.  After that we went to Pizza Works for their pizza and then back home.  The weather declined rapidly.  The wind was brutal—still is.  Spitting rain off and on.  Just plain nasty. I guess the people across the lake from us took their parrots back inside. They were doing a lot of squawking—the parrots, that is. Plan on going to bed early with some Nyquil. Upper 60s today.
