Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Cloudy and breezy today.  Guess we’ve gotten spoiled because although it was in the mid-70s, we had sweatshirts on.  Sure didn’t feel like the mid-70s.  So we went to see “Zero Dark Thirty” playing in New Town.  A long movie—over two and a half hours—but really good.  Back home and sat outside reading for a while.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Sunny this morning, but chilly and windy.  We ended up going over to the KOA for the MM24 band last night.  Mike didn’t really want to go and I told him I had no problem going over by myself, but he went anyway.  Sat with the other Lazy Lakes people in a table out by the pool.  Esther and Gerald showed up later.  We stayed for 3 hours and came home.  I could have stayed longer, but Mike wasn’t feeling so great.  Set up vegetable beef soup in the crock pot this morning, and it’s starting to smell really good in here.  Watched a Netflix movie after lunch which was terrible.  Craig lent us another movie which we’ll probably watch later tonight.  Pretty much stayed around our site all day.  Had a couple of visitors.  Other than that, pretty quiet.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Nice morning—albeit a little cool and breezy.  Went for a bike ride with Esther and Gerald—a route he takes over to Venture Out RV Resort on Cudjoe Key.  Going into the wind at first which was tough going.  But we crossed over Hwy. 1 and took a path in the buttonwoods and mangroves, so the wind wasn’t an issue.  This was probably the old Hwy. 1.  Crossed over Hwy 1 again and then down Spanish Main to Venture Out.  This is a much nicer park than Lazy Lakes, but Mike really likes where we are.  This is a gated community, but we biked in like we belonged there, so nobody challenged us.  Biked around and stopped to see some friends who are staying there.  Then headed back and stopped at a little deli and had some lunch.  Then continued back.  A fun outing.  Picked up our Netflix at the office and then headed home to a hot shower.  Howard Livingston is at the KOA tonight and I’d like to go for a while, but I’m the only one.  I may go over anyway.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Really tired this morning.  We got playing Trivial Pursuit with the Canadians after the pot luck last night.  Had a great time, polished off a bottle of wine and stayed out too late.  Then couldn’t get to sleep.  Went to see “Life of Pi” with Floyd and Terry this afternoon.  We opted for the 3D version which was quite beautiful.  After the movie we stopped at the Green Parrot for a couple of drinks.  While we were sitting there we saw Char and Jerry on Whitehead.  Floyd went out to invite them over to join us, but they were on their way to see “Zero Dark 30”, which is playing at New Town—not Old Town.  So they probably saw Pi instead.  Back home and had left-over chicken for dinner.  A little on the chilly side today with the wind.  74 today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Cloudy, breezy and cool until mid-afternoon.  Charlie stopped over again with Maple.  We stayed inside most of the day.  Printed out some crossword puzzles for Gerald and myself.  Worked on a scarf I’m knitting.  Basically we just watched TV and the movie Craig lent us.  Pot luck dinner tonight.  It’ll be good to get out and see everyone.  Probably low 70s today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  Charlie stopped by with Maple this morning.  Plied her with her usual treats.  Charlie told us that Johanne won over $90 last night at bingo.  And Esther won $50.  Not bad, eh?  Won’t see them any more after happy hour!  We left after happy hour and had something to eat at Boondocks.  Then back home.  Today we did our laundry, grocery shopping, and had pizza for lunch.  Stopped at the Big Pine branch of the library, but they want $30 for a non-resident to get a library card.  Don’t think so.  Back home and put everything away and then walked over to Esther and Gerald’s.  He was working on a Super Bowl coconut.  Hasn’t finished it yet, but it’s going to look really cool.  Chilling off a bit.  74 today.

Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  A beautiful day today.  Did the cleaning while Mike went over for Monday morning donuts.  He was over there for an extraordinarily long time, so I walked over and found him kibitzing with the Canadians.  Told him it was safe to come home, the cleaning was done.  Found out that Jim and Karen had arrived so walked over there and chatted with them for a while.  Mike went back over for shoes at 1:00 and I walked over later to see how his back was doing.  So far, so good he said.  Took a book over to Karen and then walked back.  Happy hour tonight.  I’m ready for a drink.  The Canadians are staying for bingo (yawn).  We’ll probably go out to eat somewhere.  77 today.
