Fri, Dec 20, 2019:  Not a great day today.  We signed up for Florida wi-fi for 4 months so we could stream movies, but it didn’t work.  Our little AT&T wi-fi had a stronger signal.  So, I called Florida wi-fi back and cancelled.  75 here today, but with the wind it feels cooler.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Thu, Dec 19, 2019:  Still cool and breezy today.  Didn’t go out at all.  The wind makes it seem a lot cooler.  After lunch we tried hooking up our broadband to our Dish.  We actually made it happen.  But watching a movie we need a more powerful wi-fi.  We might try the wi-fi here in the park, which we have to pay extra for.  Heard it’s not that great, but we’ll see.  Dish is making us crazy.  It was probably in the 60s today.  Left-overs for dinner.

Wed, Dec 18, 2019:  When I took the trash out to the road this morning, I had jeans and a turtleneck on.  But it was still warm at that point.  We did the laundry and got that out of the way before it turned cold.  Now it’s in the low 60s and windy.  Haven’t even gone outside since doing the laundry.  The goulash we made is simmering away.  That will taste good tonight.

Tue, Dec 17, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  We drove into Ft. Myers this morning for my infusion.  Mike dropped me off and then went to get the truck washed.  I told him it would take at least two hours for the infusion.  He came back early and when I didn’t come out after a while he inquired about my status.  They told him there was no one in there by my name.  He said he dropped me off there and saw me go in.  They told him he must have dropped me somewhere else.  Needless to say, he got really frustrated and upset.  They told him there were no patients there at that time.  They finally realized I was in the infusion area and would be out shortly.  Doesn’t give me a warm fuzzy feeling about this place.  I will definitely have words with them when I go back in two months.  Left there and stopped at Camping World and returned some things and bought a water softener.  On the way home we stopped at a tiki bar on Rt. 31 for an early dinner.  The Boat House Tiki Bar is a really nice place right on the river.  Great menu.  Back home and sat outside for a while enjoying this beautiful evening.  Daisy stopped by for a while.  Apparently her owners were trying to catch her to bring her inside.  She was having none of it.  Supposed to get some rain later and get colder.  That will bring her in.  She doesn’t like bad weather.  What a crazy cat!  87 today!  Tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the 60s.

Mon, Dec 16, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  Left around 11:00 this morning heading to Clewiston to take care of grocery shopping and other errands.  Then rewarded ourselves with lunch at the Kiki Bar in Clewiston.  It’s right on the water and much nicer than the tiki bars we frequented in The Keys.  Sat outside reading for a while.  Planning on going to game night at the activity center tonight.  Missed the last two.  84 today.

Sun, Dec 15, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  A chilly start this morning but it warmed up quickly.  I put on my back brace and headed out for my walk.  A pretty long one this morning.  On my way back ran into Charlie.  Talked with him for a while and continued back home.  Went to Crumb’s for lunch.  I had the daily special, gumbo with a corn muffin.  Mike had a chicken wrap sandwich.  When I went to pay the bill the gal told me there was a Christmas surprise for us.  I asked her if we were going to get a Christmas prize every time we came in.  Turns out our secret Santa is Laurie.  Thanks Laurie & Tim!  Back to our site and Gerald pulled up on his bike.  Caught up with him.  The rest of the afternoon was spent watching golf and football.  The Rams are playing the Cowboys this afternoon.  A beautiful day today.  Not a cloud in the sky.  Upper 70s.

Sat, Dec 14, 2019:  The Glades, Moore Haven, FL:  A storm came through this morning with lots of rain and wind.  At one point the rain was going sideways.  Had to put the awning up.  But it cleared off in the afternoon and got really warm.  Spent most of the day reading and watching stuff we’d recorded.  Low 80s today.

Our neighbor, Bill, walks his 9-year-old Yorkie and his cat, Daisy, follows along.  When the dog does his thing, she does hers and covers it all up.  Really comical.

Then on the way back she starts pouncing on the dog, wanting to play.  So cute!
