Sat, Apr 18, 2020:  Day 28 of self-quarantine:  A nice sunny day today.  And warmer—61.  Didn’t do much except the laundry and watched a bunch of JaLo movies.  Monster-In-Law is the funniest.  Played spades again in the evening.  Just sandwiches for dinner.

Fri, Apr 17, 2020:  Day 27 of self-quarantine:  A raw day today.  40s and breezy.  In the afternoon our grocery shoppers started texting me.  The first was Schnucks and just as she was finishing up Aldi started texting me that she was shopping.  Schnucks delivered first around 2:30 and just as she was finishing up the Aldi shopper texted me she was on the way.  Got food now!  And even toilet paper!  Got everything sanitized and put away by 4:00 and decided to utilize Grubhub for something for dinner.  But the delivery times were up to 80 minutes.  Nixed that and ate left-overs or sandwiches.  We certainly have enough food.  I ate too much.  Have a stomach ache.

Thu, Apr 16, 2020:  Day 26 of self-quarantine:  My sister texted me and said I didn’t blog on Wednesday.  I said I did, but it was late.  Checked, and sure enough, I didn’t.  OK.  Guess I’m losing it.  Thought for sure I did it.  Anyway, today I concentrated on getting my laptop out of tablet mode and back to my familiar desktop.  Don’t know how it got in tablet mode, but it did.  And I was able to get it back with the help of a YouTube video.  Cold and sunny today.  Supposed to get up to a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow just north of us.  Great!  Just hope it stays north.  And tomorrow is supposed to be 49 with a cold rain.  Feel sorry for the people delivering our groceries.

Tue, Apr 14, 2020:  Day 24 of self-quarantine:  Cold again today, but sunny.  I was scheduled for my infusion this morning, but it was put off until noon.  Got that out of the way by 3:00.  Everyone was in a separate room.  The nurse practitioner prepped me and she kept missing the vein in my hand.  Hurt like hell.  She finally tried another vein and got it.  My hand is still sore.  At least it’s over with until June.

Mon, Apr 13, 2020:  Day 23 of self-quarantine:  Really windy and cool today.  But sunny at least.  Did some cleaning and waited for the gutter helmet guy to show up.  He was supposed to show up between 2 and 5.  He showed up at 5:15.  He showed up with no mask.  But they kept their distance.  People should wear their masks when outside.  Anyway, he fixed it and left.  Only in the 40s today with lots of wind.

Sun, Apr 12, 2020:  Day 22 of self-quarantine:  Happy Easter!  Pretty chilly again today.  Ordered more groceries from Schnucks.  Wouldn’t you know they’ll be delivered the same day the other order from Aldi.  We’ll have groceries out the wazoo.  That’s okay.  Ordered a pizza for contactless delivery.  We’ll see what happens.  50s today.
