Sat, Nov 7, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Dish came out today to fix the reception in the bedroom TV.  Turns out the living room TV was coming off the dish on the roof of the fifth wheel, and the bedroom was coming off the residential dish they installed last year.  The residential dish had a burned out part and wasn’t secured in the ground very well.  Fixed that and we now have both TVs working.  Now a storm is coming through in the next day or so, so we’ll lose TV anyway (sigh).  All is good.  Maybe low 80s today, cloudy and breezy.

Fri, Nov 6, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Back to Clewiston to pick up another script.  Decided to stop by the Tiki Bar in Clewiston for lunch if it looked safe.  No one wearing masks--no wait staff, no customers.  We were able to keep a good distance away from others, but the wait staff should have been wearing masks.  So we left, picked up our script and headed home.  Took care of a few chores in the afternoon.  A lot of our neighbors still haven’t shown up yet.  85 here today and breezy.

Thu, Nov 5, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  A beautiful morning.  Took care of some chores outside, had some breakfast, and then headed to Ft. Myers to pick up some things at Camping World.  I got a new chaise out of it.  Mike got some new hose and a new quick-connect for the grill.  Back home, stopping at Taco Bell for some burritos for lunch.  After lunch we headed to Clewiston to pick up a script for me.  We almost traversed the whole state (sigh).  Came back and set up my new chair.  A really nice evening.  Enjoyed a glass of wine outside on our patio and then inside for spades.  Made salads for dinner.  Mid-80s today.

Wed, Nov 4, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Really windy today.  Took the sheets up to the laundry and put them in the washer.  Back in 20 minutes and put them in the dryer.  In 40 minutes I walked to the laundry and folded the sheets and walked back to our site.  At least I got my walk in.  We finally had to put our awning in the wind was so bad.  Beautiful day though.  Mid-80s.  After lunch we read for a while and then played spades.

Tue, Nov 3, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Changed the sheets on the bed this morning.  After breakfast we headed to LaBelle to buy some groceries.  After lunch we sat outside reading for a while.  I came inside because it was too windy.  A really nice day though—upper-70s.  And Mike didn’t get stung by anything today.  He couldn’t get his watch on though because of the swelling.  Left-overs for dinner tonight.

Mon, Nov 2, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  Neither one of us slept very good last night.  Mike because of his latest wasp stings and me—I don’t know.  I struggled to stay awake to see the first episode of “Roadkill” on PBS.  After that I wasn’t sleepy any more.  We got up and started the laundry.  Put the clothes in the washers and then back to our site and had breakfast.  Then went back, put in the dryers, back to our site and putzed around for a while.  Then back to fold.  Finally—done!  Had to send our Netflix DVD back.  We tried to play it in the living room—no luck.  Then in the bedroom—again no luck.  Turns out it was the DVD itself.  Thought our blue ray and DVD player were no longer working.  It’s meatloaf Monday at Crumbs.  So we ordered lunch and picked it up around noon.   Stuffed ourselves.  Lots of leftovers.  The table for our grill we ordered showed up.  Mike put it together this afternoon.  A really nice stainless steel table with shelves, hooks for grilling tools, etc.  A cold front came through last night.  A really pleasant day today in the upper 70s, but really windy.

Sun, Nov 1, 2020:  The Glades RV Park:  I got up early, took a quick shower, dressed, and started wiping down stuff outside.  Between the rain and the humidity, everything was wet.  Wiped down the tables, the truck, and the back of the fifth wheel.  Even though it was just washed, it gets dirty quickly.  Then I headed out for my walk.  A beautiful, but humid, day.  Poor Mike.  He was emptying the black water tank and got stung twice by wasps!  One in each wrist.  They are gunning for him!  Beef tips and gravy for dinner tonight.  Got that started and played spades for a while.  Mike has settled down to watch football.  80s today.
