Tue, Nov 30, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Up this morning early, did my Jane Fonda workout DVD and then enjoyed my smoothie while working my crossword puzzle.  Mike stumbled out of bed shortly after.  I received a text from our friends from the Keys, Dale and Carolyn, that they’re here.  So we drove over there.  Said hello and then left them to get set up.  Told them to come over in the afternoon for happy hour.  Went to Crumbs for lunch and then sat outside reading for a while.  They showed up at 4:30 and we sat in our screen room drinking wine and catching up.  Mid-70s today.

Mon, Nov 29, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  A chilly morning again this morning.  Last year  I had to walk early before it got too hot.  This year is another story.  So, I put in my Jane Fonda aerobic DVD and did the equivalent of a one mile walk.  Mike stumbled out of bed at the end of my workout.  Our new fireplace insert was delivered today.  And we’re meeting Jesus in LaBelle again this afternoon to pay him for the pavers.  He says he can do it Tuesday or Wednesday.  And I called Todd about anchoring the fifth wheel.  Haven’t heard back from him yet.  A nice afternoon.  75 degrees out there.

Sun, Nov 28, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  A totally lazy, do-nothing day today.  I did walk up to the library and took a book back.  Got another and walked around the marina.  Stopped by Carol’s place, but no one home.  When I walked yesterday my back didn’t bother me that much.  Today was another story.  Mike can’t walk much at all without pain.  Went by Tim and Todd’s place.  Wanted to talk to them about anchoring the fifth wheel.  But no one out and about.  Maybe we’ll go down for happy hour this afternoon.  Getting ready to play spades with Nomad.  Mid-70s today with a clear blue sky.

Sat, Nov 27, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Drove to La Belle this morning to meet Jesus (pronounced hay-zus) who is going to install pavers in our screen room.  Got there early, so we quickly did the grocery shopping.  Jesus followed us back to our site at the Glades, did some measurements and showed us some pavers he brought.  We’re going with those and he’ll probably do it next week.  Great!  Finally, something is going to get done.  And Tim and Todd (our happy hour place) said they would do the anchoring of the fifth wheel.  Yes!  Things are moving along.  After lunch we did the laundry and got that out of the way.  Fell asleep watching TV after lunch so now we don’t feel like happy hour.  I walked today though.  It felt good.  A beautiful day today.  Not a cloud in the sky.  Only in the mid-70s today.  We’ll take it.

Fri, Nov 26, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Went to my yoga class at 11:00 this morning.  Curt, the guy who’s going to put up a patio cover for us, called first thing this morning and he came out and took measurements.  First we have to get our fifth wheel anchored, put up on blocks and leveled.  Now we have to find someone to do that.  There’s a band over at the pool today.  Mark is singing.  Thought about going over, but not sure I want to sit around in the sun all afternoon.  Upper 70s today.  Beautiful!

Thu, Nov 25, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  Happy Thanksgiving!  Our pot roast dinner is in the crock pot.  We’re relaxing and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and then the dog show.  Such is our day.  Was sunny here but now the clouds are drifting in.  Mid-70s today.

Wed, Nov 24, 2021:  The Glades RV Park:  A former neighbor of ours in the Keys messaged me and asked me to call him.  He wanted to tell me his wife, Jo, died back in July.  So sad.  Talked with him for a while and then went to my yoga class at the activity center.  After lunch the guy who is going to do our pavers called me.  He wants me to meet him in La Belle and then follow us back to our place so he can measure to see how many pavers we’ll need.  A lot of driving back and forth for us, but what the hell.  We want to get this done.  Curt, who’s going to do our patio cover called me also.  He’ll be coming out sometime next week.  Things are moving along.  Playing spades with Nomad shortly.  Low 70s today.  I took the trash out to the road at 3:00 this morning.  The moon was out and it was bright as day.  Stars were beautiful.  Cold though.
