Tue, Mar 26, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Brandon, the RV handyman, showed up at 10:00 this morning.  He installed the new thermostat, fixed a leak in the water heater, and got the furnace working.  He left here at 1:00.  Mike headed to Clewiston for a Walgreens run and I started putting things outside away.  Then sat outside and finished my book, “Let Us Descend.”  Going to start a Randy Wayne White book next that I found in our library here in the park.  Upper 80s today and breezy.

Mon, Mar 25, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Drove to LaBelle to pick up a few things and drop off some stuff at Goodwill.  The handyman guy will be here tomorrow to replace the thermostat.  Played spades in the afternoon.  A nice day—breezy and low 80s.

Sun, Mar 24, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Took care of the laundry this morning, and put fresh sheets on the bed.  Then went next door and talked with Rick and Aleta.  They’re leaving in a couple of days.  The guy behind us is leaving also.  We plan on leaving Friday—depending on the weather north of us.  It always seems to be a hot mess in Alabama and Mississippi.  80 in here today.

Sat, Mar 23, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  James and Carolina showed up in their new Tessla around 1:00.  Opened a bottle of white wine and sat around catching up.  They each have a brand new Tessla.  And their next trip is to Africa.  What a boring life they have!  Headed to the Riverfront Grill and dined on the patio.  A little windy, but pretty nice.  Dinner was great, complete with a slice of birthday cake for Mike. Thanks to James and Carolina!  He’s 81 today. 

  

Fri, Mar 22, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Off to LaBelle this morning for my hair appointment—in the pouring rain.  Back home and we met Dale and Carolyn for lunch.  Dined inside because of the rain.  Back home and watched another episode of “Manhunt” on Apple+.  That will be our last episode since we don’t get Apple+ at home.  Played spades with Nomad in the afternoon.  Upper 60s here today.

Thu, Mar 21, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Off to LaBelle this morning for my eye appointment.  Out of there by 11:30 and then back to our site and lunch.  Started watching “Manhunt” on Apple+ about the assassination of President Lincoln.  Really good.  Read for a while and then played spades in the afternoon with Nomad.  Do you see a pattern here?  83 in here today.

Wed, Mar 20, 2024:  Glades RV Park:  Chilly this morning.  So, no walk.  A pretty quiet day.  Did some cleaning and read my book.  Played spades in the afternoon with Nomad.  Upper 70s today.
