W. Memphis, AR, to KOA in Meridian, MS:  Left the KOA in W. Memphis at a little after 9:00 and headed to the Flying J just up the road to fuel up and have some breakfast.  After fueling I couldn't find a spot big enough to park, so we just kept going.  Continued south on I55 but traffic came to a standstill just before the I55 bridge over the Mississippi.  Traffic just crawled along.  Took us 40 minutes just to get on the bridge.  And when we did there was a guy on the bridge moving traffic cones from one side to the other. No construction or anything.  It’s a wonder somebody didn't grab the guy and throw him off the bridge.  Got off I55 and headed east on Rt. 302.  Then dropped south on I78.  Stopped just outside Tupelo, fueled up again and had some lunch. Then took Rt. 45 south to Meridian.  We've never gone this way before and thought it might be interesting since it wasn't a main highway.  But it was just so-so.  Got to the KOA in Meridian and were set up by 4:30 or so.  There’s a couple next to us from Ontario, Canada, in a beautiful 45 foot motor home.  They’re heading to Ft. Myers for the winter. 85 when we pulled in here.  A beautiful day!

Wonder what these huge things are?  Can't imagine transporting them on this limited-access highway.
