Fri, Dec 11, Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf Key, FL:  I had a hard time sleeping last night because of the events after the ballet. But I was glad in a way because there was a lot of lightning way off in the Atlantic somewhere and it was creating quite a light show. I hate electrical storms, but there was no thunder at all, and the lightning backlit the clouds and reflected off the lake in pretty shades of pink. Plus, there was a multitude of stars overhead. All in all a pretty spectacular show. Got up at 7:00 (early for me) because I wanted to get the insurance thing out of the way. A beautiful morning—sunny with a few clouds and a slight breeze. We are expecting a run of really nice weather—high 70s and low 80s with lots of sun. Took our bikes up to Big Pine to get them tuned up and I need a new bike seat—so we’ll be ready to do some biking. Mangrove Mama’s tonight for dinner and drinks—lots of drinks. Upper 70s today and SUNNY.

Love the exotic flora down here.
