Tue, Dec 6, Lazy Lakes RV Park, Sugarloaf, FL:  Really warm and sultry today.  I LOVE warm and sultry.  I was looking forward to receiving our first newspaper this morning (Key West Citizen), but because of some snafu it went to the wrong site.  Larry and I walked down and retrieved it.  While I have no interest in reading the paper in St. Louis, I love reading the one here.  They have a little section entitled “This Day in History” which lists certain things that happened on that day.  There’s also a daily diary entry from a gentleman named Hackley who lived in Key West in the mid-1800s.  He’s now up to the year 1855. I believe he was a lawyer or something.  Around noon we headed to Key West to do the grocery shopping.  Then had lunch at Big John’s Pizza.  Back home, and after putting everything away, tried to sit outside for a while, but the no-seeums drove me inside. 85 today and gorgeous!

While sitting outside this morning, this guy scampered through our site.  Some people hate them.  I love them.  Some people kill them.  That I really hate.  They kill them because they eat their flowers.  Give me a break!

This one was hanging out in the mangroves behind Larry's site.
