Wed, Nov 28:  NCL Jade Cruise Ship:  When we left Miami yesterday, it was rather chilly.  This morning I stepped onto our balcony to warm and sultry.  We’re just passing the northeast coast of Cuba right now, about to go through the straight between Cuba and Haiti.  We had breakfast at the Moderno restaurant this morning.  The “suites” customers get nice perks—like breakfast and lunch at two of the premier restaurants which we don’t pay extra for.  To me it’s well worth the money.  Plus our room is super comfortable.  We’re at sea all day today and tomorrow.  After breakfast we went our separate ways—me to the library to get another crossword puzzle and Mike to Deck 13 for a smoke.  Cocktail party tonight with the ship’s captain and crew.  Then we made dinner reservations at La Cucina, an Italian restaurant.  Then probably to the casino which we did last night.  Mike came out ahead—me not so much.  Seas are very calm.  Temperature out there is 80.  Nice!

Bye, bye Miami!  NCL Sun is right behind us.

Pilot boat coming up to the ship to retrieve the pilot.

Relaxing on the chaise this morning reading my book.
